About Us
Animal Dermatology & Allergy was founded in 1996 by Dr. Andrea Cannon.
Dr. Cannon graduated from UC Davis Veterinary School in 1993 and completed her residency in veterinary dermatology at Davis in 1995. She is Board Certified by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. After her residency, Dr. Cannon completed a fellowship in human dermatology at the University of Miami and then returned to the Sacramento area to pursue her love of clinical medicine. She opened her first practice in Modesto, Ca. which was followed by additional practices in Roseville/Sacramento and Boise, Idaho. In 2006, together with her husband Mike, she designed, constructed and opened Animal Dermatology & Allergy in Rocklin, Ca. The Rocklin Clinic serves as the main office in addition to the clinics in Modesto and Boise. The clinic also enjoys the best veterinary staff in the country in Denise Cooney, Janessa Paladini, Lisa Smith and Jennifer Kleiber. Their level of service, knowledge and experience makes every client feel welcome and every pet special.
